Hello, Hola, Hallo!

Welcome and thank you for stopping by! Let me introduce myself!

My name is Sarah and I believe in engaging, relevant, authentic lessons.  Creativity is necessary to engage our young, “digital learners,” and I embrace imaginative instruction techniques.

As it became more and more apparent that the issue of teachers’ stress levels needed to be addressed, I began the blog “The Stress Free Spanish Teacher” in order to try to make an impact in other teachers’ lives by sharing stress relief tips and encouraging teachers to live a more stress free life.

My teaching history began at Concordia Language Villages where I acted as a Senior Counselor and Art Director for El Lago del Bosque Spanish Village.  This opportunity provided me with essential immersion techniques that I thus employed in my own Spanish classes when I began working for the public school system. I have had the opportunity to teach in both public and private schools in the United States and Europe. I’m proud to have 15 years of teaching under my (tool)belt!

Throughout my teaching experience I have created many resources that can be applied in a number of content areas and grade levels.  I began selling my teaching ideas, lesson plans, Spanish worksheets and other creative content on Teachers Pay Teachers at the beginning of 2011.

Thank you for visiting this blog!

2010, the day my life changed forever. I fell in love and walked the Camino de Santiago de Compostela along the way.

Currently living in Spain & enjoying exploring… and…

…eating tapas!
